This page lists categories of service providers ("subprocessors") that may process personal information to help us operate Pixel Arcade Studio. Subprocessors are authorized to process information only to provide services to us and subject to contractual obligations.

1) Core Infrastructure & Hosting

Purpose: Host the Service, store game projects, run backend services, deliver content securely.

Data potentially processed: Account identifiers, project data, logs, IP address, device/browser metadata, authentication tokens.

  • Cloud hosting / compute / storage (e.g., infrastructure provider)
  • Database hosting / backups
  • Content delivery & security edge services (e.g., CDN, WAF)

2) Authentication & Account Management

Purpose: Sign-in, account security, session management.

Data potentially processed: Parent email, authentication/session tokens, IP address, device/browser metadata.

  • Authentication provider (if applicable)
  • Email delivery provider for account verification (if applicable)

3) Payments & Subscription Billing

Purpose: Process payments, manage subscriptions, handle invoices/receipts.

Data potentially processed: Parent billing contact info; subscription status; payment tokenization metadata.

Note: We do not store full payment card numbers on our servers.

  • Payment processor (e.g., Stripe or equivalent)

4) Notifications & Messaging

Purpose: Deliver service notifications (account/security/billing) and product messages to Parents.

Data potentially processed: Parent email; device push tokens (if push is enabled); notification metadata.

  • Email delivery provider (if applicable)
  • Push notification provider (e.g., OneSignal) (if applicable)

5) Analytics, Performance Monitoring, and Error Tracking

Purpose: Measure performance, reliability, and feature usage to improve the Service.

Data potentially processed: Event telemetry, device/browser metadata, IP address (often transient), crash/error logs, pseudonymous identifiers.

  • Product analytics provider (e.g., Google Analytics / similar) (if applicable)
  • Error monitoring provider (if applicable)

Children's privacy note: We aim to minimize collection and avoid behavioral advertising. Where feasible, analytics are configured to reduce identifier persistence and limit data to service operation and improvement.


6) Customer Support Tools

Purpose: Track and resolve support requests.

Data potentially processed: Parent email, support message content, attachments (if any), account context.

  • Helpdesk/ticketing system (if applicable)

7) AI Assistance Providers (If Used)

Purpose: Provide AI-assisted code generation and creative help features.

Data potentially processed: Prompts/instructions and generated outputs; may include project context.

Children's privacy note: We do not intentionally use children's personal information to train public-facing or general-purpose models.
